— Yakeen Gupta, Geelong, VIC
About Customer
Yakeen Gupta is a homeowner in Geelong, VIC, who values high-quality workmanship and long-term home investments. Living in a coastal city, he understands the importance of a durable and weather-resistant roofing system to withstand harsh elements. Seeking both functionality and aesthetics, he wanted a solution that would enhance his home’s natural lighting and drainage system while preventing future damage.
Product/Service
Our team provided skylight installation and gutter replacement services, ensuring both structural integrity and enhanced functionality.
- Skylight Installation: We installed a premium double-glazed skylight, allowing natural light to flood the living space while improving energy efficiency. The UV-coated glass reduces heat gain in summer and retains warmth during winter.
- Gutter Replacement: The existing gutter system was damaged and sagging, leading to poor drainage. We replaced it with a high-capacity, rust-resistant aluminium gutter, ensuring efficient water flow and reducing the risk of water damage.
- Added Benefits: Our weatherproof sealants and precision installation enhanced the home’s longevity, curb appeal, and energy efficiency.
By using eco-friendly materials and high-quality sealants, we provided a long-term roofing solution that required minimal maintenance.
The Problems/Challenges
Before hiring our team, Yakeen faced multiple roofing challenges that affected his home’s safety and efficiency:
- Leaky, damaged gutters: His old gutters were rusted and sagging, leading to poor drainage and water pooling near the foundation. This increased the risk of water damage, mould growth, and structural issues.
- Lack of natural lighting: The interiors felt dim and uninspiring, increasing the home’s reliance on artificial lighting. This led to higher electricity bills and a less inviting atmosphere.
- Coastal weather conditions: Geelong’s coastal winds and heavy rainfall had worsened the existing gutter damage, making an upgrade essential.
- Choosing the right service provider: Yakeen considered multiple roofing companies but chose us due to our local expertise, high-quality materials, and commitment to long-term durability.
